International events

Two pairs of researchers presented analyses based on data from the Cohort '18 Hungarian Birth Cohort Study at the European Population Conference, held in Groningen, the Netherlands, from 29 June to 2 July 2022. Fruzsina Leitheiser and Zsuzsanna Veroszta discussed the employment characteristics of mothers with young children in the poster session on "Employment Characteristics of Women during Childbearing Period and Subsequent Workplans" and Laura Szabó and Julianna Boros discussed the socio-economic risk factors of low birth weight in the poster session on "Health Inequalities at Birth within the Hungarian 2018-2019 Birth Cohort: Socioeconomic Differences of Low-Birth-Weight Infants".

Krisztina Kopcsó and Gabriella Nikolett Sándor also participated with a joint poster at the 26th meeting of the International Society for the Study of Behavioural Development, 19-23 June 2022, Rhodes, Greece. Their poster "Infant sleep patterns and maternal depressive symptoms: results from Growing up in Hungary" presented the association between infant sleep patterns and maternal depressive symptoms, analysing data from the second wave of the Cohort '18 study, when the children were 6-month-old.
